Background: The desire to connect with horses began at an early age and has led me on a lifelong journey to discover more about the human-horse relationship and the subtleties of horse whispering.
This desire culminated in me achieving my 2-Star Licensed Parelli Professional certification and is what led me to become involved in equine-assisted learning programs.
The deep dive all really started as a teenager with my horse Lacey. A horse that was worried about being saddled, floated and was very "forward". I knew I would find a way to help her through this, to understand and not be afraid. To become a willing partner. The journey transformed our relationship, as through horsemanship you are both required to grow mentally, emotionally, and physically.
It never ceases to amaze me what horses can teach us about ourselves and I enjoy guiding others to develop meaningful relationships with horses so they too can experience the unique connection one can have with a horse and how powerfully that can influence our lives.
