Name: Julie Gannon
Position: Horse Husbandry & Assistant Facilitator
Skills: Horsemanship, Equine Facilitated Learning (EASD certification) and Aged/Support Care, Cert. iii.
Background: I have been in the horse industry for over 40 years but more recently studying Natural Horsemanship at H4C’s, which I am finding extremely valuable.
Although only recently joining the H4C team in mid 2023 I have found my new horse husbandry role immensely fulfilling.
The fulfilling work of being able to help people come together to create personal growth and wellness, with the aid of our superbly trained horses and team, just makes my heart sing!...and I can totally understand the remarkable healing powers that horses have to heal and help humans.
Apart from H4C I am a support worker for all types of people needing help to improve their life quality. These roles go hand in hand, and both gratify my intrinsic interest in people. It's this fascination with people that drives me further in this role. Also the way our Equine partners are cared for at H4C’s is second to none that I have seen, which simply adds another level to my professional experience.
