Name: Shona Davis

Position: Horse Trainer / Lead Facilitator

Skills: Natural Horsemanship, Equine Assisted Learning Facilitator – EPI, EASD

Background: My journey into Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) has been deeply influenced by my lifelong connection with horses.

Working with and caring for horses has taught me amazing skills and resilience that are needed for everyday life. It continues to amaze me how much we can learn from these incredible animals.

There is no feeling like the true and deep connections horses give you when you have given them a reason to trust you.

Combining my passion for horses and helping people led me into my work as an EAL facilitator.

I have been in the sector for 7 years and trained with the Equine Psychotherapy Institute as well as Ripple Fx (obtaining the Equine Assisted Skills Development certification).

Through integrating my personal experiences with horses and my years of professional work with clients, I am able to create a supportive environment for clients to develop life skills to enable them to achieve their goals.

Even after years of being in this field of work, I’m in awe of the unique partnership between client and horse and the positive impact EAL has on people’s lives.
